Cerament- a bone healing journey

BoneSupport

Challenge
CERAMENT bone voids filler manufactured by BoneSupport is used to fill gaps and voids in bone, for example those caused by trauma and benign bone tumors. It is the only injectable and moldable synthetic bone substitute that remodels to host bone within 6-12 months. However, visualizing the Cerament unique mechanism of action is not easy and is often requested by non-medical stakeholders, e.g. investors.

Solution
Working very closely with BoneSupport’s medical and marketing teams, W developed a film storyboard using a mix of 2D and 3D animation. It was purposely kept short, enabling the presenter to talk to the film, by stopping the film after each stage of bone growth and adding their commentary.

Result
A short Cerament mechanism of action 2D/3D animated film primarily for aimed at non-medical stakeholders to help them better understand how Cerament can used to heal bone injuries and defects that cannot heal by themselves. The Cerament mechanism of action film is used extensively during investor presentations and meetings to explain the product’s unique way of working in a simple and understandable way.
